Welcome to Fiber Science, Inc.

Fiber Science has three objectives. We perform fiber and polymer research, develop and scale up new fibers, and have the capacity to produce over three million pounds of fiber per year. Our production is driven by customer needs. We can supply any combination of denier and filament count, and process a very wide variety of polymers to satisfy the needs of our customers, which include fusible fibers, fibers with high degrees of heat stability, fibers with high degrees of chemical resistance, and other specialized applications. Fiber Science manufactures our own production equipment, which allows us to optimize extrusion conditions for polymers with extremely low or high processing temperatures, or other unique processing requirements. A comprehensive description of our extrusion process can be found on our process page.
